Insert to Existing

Insert to Existing allows a copper device to be inserted into an existing copper sheath.

Note: Before using the Insert to Existing command, use the Break command to break an existing sheath into two separate spans. Click on the sheath location where the copper device will be inserted.

From the Modify/Delete section of the Copper Tab select the Insert to Existing command:
Place the copper device to be inserted, using the Copper Place Route command.
Select the first span of sheath to insert into the copper device.
Select the second span of sheath to insert into the same device.
Select the copper device to be inserted between the two sheaths.
The two sheaths connect automatically to the copper device.
